1. Service operator
The website polyveritas.com ("the Service") is an editorial project run by the operator of PolyVeritas ("the operator"), reachable at [email protected]. By using the Service you accept these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service and minimum age
PolyVeritas is a free editorial service analysing prediction markets. All content is for information purposes only: it is not financial, political or investment advice, nor betting advice or operational recommendations. PolyVeritas is not affiliated with Polymarket, does not offer or facilitate gambling or betting, and does not invite anyone to open positions on any platform. The Service is restricted to users aged 18 or over.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by writing to [email protected]: the account and associated data will be removed as described in the Privacy Policy. The operator may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, giving reasons as per section 5.
4. User content
By posting a comment you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce and display the comment within the Service, revocable by deleting the comment or the account. You remain solely responsible for the content you post. Unlawful, defamatory, hateful or spam content, or content infringing third-party rights, is prohibited.
5. Moderation and notices (Digital Services Act)
Anyone may report content they consider illegal through the "Report" button on every comment or by writing to [email protected] (single point of contact for authorities and users under arts. 11-12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). Notices are reviewed promptly; where content is removed, hidden or restricted, the author receives, upon request, the reasons for the decision and may contest it through the same contact.
6. Intellectual property
The editorial content of the Service (texts, analyses, graphics, the PolyVeritas brand) belongs to the operator. Content is produced with AI assistance under editorial review and responsibility. Quoted market data comes from Polymarket's public APIs and the related trademarks belong to their respective owners; use is purely descriptive. Quoting with an attribution link is allowed; systematic reproduction of the content is not.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". Published predictions can turn out to be wrong; the markets discussed can result in loss of capital for those who trade elsewhere. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the information published; nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights mandatorily granted to consumers by the law of their country of residence.
8. Changes to the Terms
The operator may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified to registered users individually by email at least 15 days before taking effect; continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of establishment, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. For consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile; for any other user, jurisdiction is determined under applicable law. Complaints: [email protected]; recourse to alternative dispute resolution procedures provided by law remains available.
10. Severability and force majeure
If any clause is found invalid, the remaining clauses stay in force. The operator is not liable for failures due to events beyond its reasonable control.
